Call for submissions

When is the deadline for submission?

The deadline to submit an abstract for an oral presentation, workshop or symposium is Tuesday 13 February 2018 before 11:59 pm ET.

When will I know if my submission is accepted?

Submitters will be notified of the results by Friday 9 March 2018. All communication will be with the presenting author as indicated on the submission.

Do presenters need to register?

Successful presenters must confirm the intent to present by registering before the close of the Early-bird registration on 6 April 2018 to be included in the conference program. Presenters assume all costs related to their attendance at the Conference.  

Presenters must register for a minimum of one (1) day. Exhibitor and sponsor passes CANNOT be used by presenters.

Oral Presentations

How long is an oral presentation?

An oral presentation is 12 minutes followed by a three-minute discussion period. 

Can presenters use slides?

Presenters may use slides. Each session room is equipped with a projector, laptop, screen, podium and microphone. Additional equipment such as flip charts and simultaneous interpretation will be available at the presenter’s expense.

Will presentations be made available to delegates after the conference?

All presentations, including posters will be made available to delegates following the conference. Presenters may request that their presentation not be posted.

When does registration open?

Registration opens 21 February 2018. 

Does my registration allow me to attend Public Health 2018?

While we anticipate three full-days of sessions dedicated to vaccination, if a particular session in the Public Health 2018 scientific program is of interest, you are permitted to attend.    

What food and beverage are provided?

Tuesday 29 May: Morning coffee, AM and PM nutrition breaks, lunch
Wednesday 30 May: Morning coffee, AM and PM nutrition breaks, lunch
Thursday 31 May: Morning coffee, networking reception with poster presenters, lunch, PM nutrition break.

Will Wi-Fi be available during the conference?

Free Wi-Fi will be provided.
