Call for Submissions
When will the call for submissions open?
The call for submissions for symposiums and workshops will open Tuesday 6 July.
A late-breaking call for oral abstract presentations will open Thursday 23 September.
When is the deadline for submission?
The call for submissions for symposiums and workshops will close at 23:59 EST Thursday 9 September.
The late-breaking call for oral abstract presentations will close at 23:59 EST Thursday 14 October.
When will I know if my abstract is accepted?
All communication will be with the submitting author as indicated on the submission.
Symposium and workshop submitters will be notified of the results of the peer review by Thursday 21 October 2021.
Oral abstract submitters will be notified of the results of the peer review by Thursday 11 November 2021.
WILL LIVE VIRTUAL SESSIONS BE RECORDED AND AVAILABLE POST-CONFERENCE?
All sessions presented live during the virtual conference will be recorded and made available to registered participants for one year post-conference. Presenters are encouraged to review their presentations for sensitive and confidential information before submission, as recordings will not be edited to remove this information.
WHY DO PRESENTATIONS NEED TO BE PRE-RECORDED IF THEY ARE PRESENTED LIVE DURING THE CONFERENCE?
We are asking for pre-recorded presentations to avoid real-time technical challenges. In an effort to provide as seamless of an event as possible, pre-recorded presentations will help prevent concurrent sessions from running over time.
All sessions will be managed by an AV technician. The technician will open and close the session, play pre-recorded presentations, administer live polls, and control when speakers are shown on the screen. In order to do this successfully, session leads will complete a template with session details and timing.
Do presenters need to register?
All presenters are required to register the virtual conference. We encourage presenters to register for the full conference but if presenters are unable to participate both days, discounted daily rates are available.
The presenter daily rate is $100 and grants access to the conference sessions and networking features on the day of your presentation, post-conference materials and the presentation gallery.

When does registration open?
Registration will open Tuesday 13 July.
CAN INTERNATIONAL DELEGATES REGISTER?
Yes. Please note that all sessions times are in Eastern Standard Time.
IS the canadian immunization conference VIRTUAL ACCREDITED?
We will seek accreditation from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Certificates will be issued upon request after completing the evaluation form following the conference.
