British Columbia
A public and stakeholder consultation was conducted on behalf of British Columbia in September-November 2017. In December 2017, the province announced B.C.’s minimum age to possess, purchase and consume non-medical cannabis and the wholesale distribution of non-medical cannabis. In February 2018, the province announced its regulatory framework and legislation regarding the retail framework, personal public possession limits, places of use, personal cultivation and drug-impaired driving.
